The European Commission would do good by just looking into the possible favorable effects of an
unconditional basic income. Long-term outcome can be 'Peace and quiet' in the city councils and regions.
It could give rise to a more coherent and stable society. For me to find out what people think about this idea.
Part I: Signatures / Action for an unconditional basic income. (English subs)
On the 19th and 20th of March 2015 a UBIE conference was held in Maribor, Slovenia.
And me, signed herewith, was making recordings of the people I encountered on my way.
They will be short portraits of all kinds. The subjects 'income' 'work' and 'free time'
will be the main themes, and they shall be echoing in the final results.
Once I hit ground in Maribor I attended the conference and did interviews with:
economists, politicians, artists, the inhabitants of the city. I collected the quotes,
atmosphere, the thoughts and the arguments in order to frame these in my UBI-series.
For those who supported my UBI-project: only if they could afford it (easily), they got in return:
-whether a handshake or a kiss as soon as I returned from my voyage, when donating 5 Euro's.
-your name in the creditlist in 1 of my short films, whith 15 Euro's.
-your name twice in the creditlist in 2 of my films: 30 Euro's.
-50 Euro, same thing + photographs sent regularly.
-100 Euro, same + photographs + a free entrance to the premiere in 2018
-300/1000 Euro: At your home or at the office, I'll be giving my presentation.
